Exploring the city during Easter is a great way to spend time in London. In 2023, Easter Sunday falls on April 9th. There are bank holidays in the United Kingdom on Friday, April 7th, and Monday, April 10th.

As most UK schools break up for two weeks for Easter, most of the UK’s biggest Easter events take place in London the week before and after the Easter weekend.

The days are longer and lighter during Easter, making it a good time to explore London. Many London children’s activities and Easter egg hunts are held during Easter in the UK.

Battersea Park Children’s Zoo

A yearly Egg Hunt is organized by Battersea Park Zoo, south of the river Thames.

You can solve the clues to find the Golden Bunny using the trail sheet you purchased when entering the Zoo! After completing the trail, redeem your prize at the Gift Shop.

The Jenny Sunshine team will be on hand throughout the Easter Holidays to transform your little ones with Easter face painting!  A small fee is charged

Easter crafts are available at Rabbit’s Warren! In addition, you can view some real animal eggs in the ‘Eggs Factor’!

Hampton Court Palace

You should consider Hampton Court Palace for an Easter Egg Hunt this year if you have children.

This Easter, find the Lindt GOLD BUNNY! Experience Hampton Court Palace through the eyes of Lindt GOLD BUNNY and discover fascinating stories of people who lived and worked there.

You can explore the palace gardens by using the trail map and find the Lindt GOLD BUNNY statues hiding there. Identify the red ribbon on each bunny statue with the name of an important palace character.

Kids ages 4-12 are welcome to participate, as well as their families. It will take you 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the trail.
